Gathering of Native Americans is a structured substance prevention curriculum created by Native peoples for Native Peoples. The curriculum covers 4 modules: Belonging, Mastery, Interdependence and Generosity. Tailored to youth, families, or elders.

Spring and Summer Programs

Spring and Summer Youth Programs promote and improve connections between individuals, peers, families, and communities, while strengthening individual skills and capacities. Empowering young people from the community through prevention, education, referral & advocacy. Activities include culturally-based alternative projects, field trips, college visits, cooking classes and speakers.
Youth Fellowship

Leadership program designed to prepare Indigenous/ Native American high school youth for college and the professional workforce. Includes various activities, workshops, speakers and college visits during the summer, as well as monthly meetings year-round. All interested youth must apply for the position, and if accepted will receive a stipend for participation.
Chae-Mal Wilderness Program

Chae-Mal reconnects youth with the natural world, Native elders, & traditional Native teachings through outdoor activities like hiking, backpacking & camping throughout the Bay Area. Parent/guardian permission required.

New Indigenous Era Youth Programming

Tuesdays-Fridays 3:00 pm-7:00 pm during the school year. Open time and space for youth to complete homework, work on projects, play games, and connect with each other in Community Wellness Department space. Youth Services staff can help with homework, and facilitate activities for the group.
