Native American Health Center (NAHC) is committed to investing in the health and education of our future generations. The Seven Generations Scholarship Fund was created to provide financial assistance for Native American and Alaska Native students residing in Alameda, San Francisco and Contra Costa counties. The Seven Generations Scholarship is an investment in the health and education of our future generations.
“Thanks to the 7G Scholarship, I can fully concentrate on my studies without worrying about financial burdens. Truly, every kind of support counts, and the help from this scholarship has enabled me to pursue my goals in higher education. A huge passion of mine is to work with communities of color in a research or direct service realm to challenge the impact of ethnic-racial discrimination on adverse child health. It truly empowers me to know my community supports me and believes in my potential. Thus, I carry this scholarship with me as I work hard to achieve my goals and give back to my community!”

In the Bay Area, only 19% of Native Americans have completed a 4-year college or graduate-level education. If current trends continue, Native Americans will become even more underrepresented among those with higher education degrees. You can help change this. By financially supporting the education of Native American and Alaska Native students and Native American Health Center staff, you can make a lasting impact today. Together, we can create a brighter future for our community. Mail all check donations to “Seven Generations Scholarship Fund” at 2920 International Blvd., Oakland, CA 94601.
