NAHC to Host Partnership for Prescription Assistance Van
Monday, August 3, 2009 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Oakland - Seven Directions
2950 International Blvd. Oakland, CA.

The Partnership for Prescription Assistance (PPA) will bring their Pharmacy Van to the Native American Health Center on Monday, August 3rd, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. This is an opportunity for community members to sign up to receive prescription medications for free directly from the manufacturers. PPA is free, confidential, and allows patients access to more than 475 public and private programs that can help you pay for the costs of your prescription medication. The van will only be here for two hours, so plan to be here right at 1:00pm on Monday, August 3rd, in order to secure your spot!

The PPA Pharmacy Van can:

  • Provide resources to help with prescription medication costs.
  • Assist with paperwork for many of these programs.
  • Provide information on what medications are the most current.
  • Answer questions one-on-one about your medication costs.
  • The Pharmacy Van cannot refill your prescriptions on the spot.

Everyone who shows up will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to show up right at 1:00pm in order to guarantee your spot!
